How would you like to connect with villagers in a developing nation and provide meaningful support toward their rise out of of poverty? Connect through our field partners.
CSDi field partners have tackled the challenges of poverty, malnutrition, a lack of water, and children without access to education in 153 countries. |
Your $200 donation will help 1,000 villagers help themselves rise out of poverty through building entrepreneurial farm produce sales.
Your $100 donation will help build and furnish a village school.
Your $50 donation will help 1,000 people have safe water by using water filters.
Your $25 donation will help 1,000 people feed themselves through family gardens. Perfect!

A typical partner village has 1,000 villagers. Adopt a Village by supporting partner projects in nutrition, water, sanitation, education and poverty alleviation. When we match your donation to a field partner, we will send you information on their village and project. See examples of partner projects in the Field Projects section below.

2014 Goal: Empower 100,000 people. CSDi is leveraging impact by providing resources, real-time consulting, project design and management for field partners—each working with a community of 1,000 people. Your support can help reduce suffering and poverty for 100,000 of the world's poorest people in 2014.
Who are our Partners? | |

Partners and their staff are people like yourselves who are interested in helping communities to solve the challenges they face. Partners are:
|
Where are the villages?
![]() |
CSDi has worked on development projects in 153 countries—80% of them developing nations. Villages have been communities of:
|
- Islanders in Fiji, Antigua, Mauritius, and Samoa who have lost land, farms and lives to coastal erosion and flooding
- Farmers in Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, and Uganda who have lost years of crop production due to drought
- Fishermen in India, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Zanzibar who have lost livelihoods to overfishing and ecosystem deterioriation
How does CSDi engage with its field partners?
![]() |
Field partners develop solutions to community need in conjunction with CSDi resources, guidance and consulting in impact oriented project design and management. Partners develop real projects, in real time, and leave community members with the practical field tools to sustain it.
|
CSDi project facilitators, who have gained development expertise by providing face-to-face consulting services to NGOs in the field, consult with partner staff on their projects and help them:
1. Conduct a participatory needs assessment in their community
2. Develop a preliminary project concept & share it with their community
3. Refine their community-based project design using proven best practices
4. Launch and implement their project.
Upon matching your donation with a partner, we will provide you with information that includes a description of the community, the challenges the community faces, and the solutions that our partner has developed into a project. See examples of projects and villages below.
